Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

An aircraft ferrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the aircraft's cockpit window, per an official statement which confirmed that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed following standard protocol and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer said in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the city of Brussels at the time.

This event does not mark the first occasion that a US military aircraft carrying a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.

Months ago, a American military jet ferrying the US Secretary of State to the German city of Munich was forced to head back to the US capital after suffering a technical issue.
