A significant industrial complex located in the suburbs of Jakarta is dealing with radioactive pollution following an official team detected traces of the dangerous isotope Caesium-137 at 22 manufacturing plants within the site, which includes companies shipping frozen marine products.

Indonesian authorities initiated an investigation when the US Food and Drug Administration identified Caesium-137, a radioactive isotope, in a shipment of frozen breaded prawns exported by an Indonesian firm.
